This charming ice cream shop radiates warmth and creativity, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors. As you step inside, the delightful aroma of freshly made waffle cones fills the air, instantly sparking your appetite for a sweet treat.

Lizzy's specializes in a wide variety of flavors that tantalize the taste buds and cater to adventurous sweet tooth seekers. Among their standout offerings, the “Chocolate Orgy” is a fan favorite—an exquisite blend of chocolate ice cream and an assortment of indulgent chocolate mix-ins. Renowned customers like Samantha Lee and George Chalhoub rave about it, describing it as “heavenly” and “highly recommended.” For those looking for something a bit different, be sure to try the “Colombian Fudge Avalanche”—a rich delight that Sandra García considers a must-try!

The menu boasts an array of options, from the classic large ice cream cups, starting at $9.25, to mouth-watering sundaes like the “Peanut Butter Hot Fudge Sundae,” which combines creamy scoops of ice cream with decadent hot fudge and crunchy peanut butter cups, priced at $12.00. Ice cream lovers can also indulge in unique creations such as the refreshing ginger flavor, highlighted by Advik Shreekumar as a standout scoop that defies expectations.

Aside from their delectable offerings, the vibe at Lizzy's is lively yet cozy, perfect for quick bites or enjoying a moment with friends. A Harvard Square staple! I love their “chocolate orgy” flavor. With more and more chains coming into Harvard Square, I always love supporting this locally owned spot with fun flavors and a very photogenic mural.

If you are in the area you HAVE to come here and give it a try, you won’t regret it. The ice cream is so tasty and milky, they have unique flavors which makes it even better. I ordered Colombian fudge Avalanche and Black raspberry, so good. Something to consider will be that the place is quite small for eating inside.

Large selection of options, ice cream with great , nice smooth texture and a wide range of serving sizes to fit your appetite. They also have few vegan sorbets and sell pints. I had the chocolate orgy (brilliant mix of chocolate mix-ins and dark chocolate ice cream) and the black raspberry (good with a subtle flavor). They also do catering.

What a delicious, refreshing and delightful ice cream. The chocolate orgy flavor, highly recommended. Excellent ice cream shop in Harvard Square

In a city with so many well regarded ice creameries, Lizzy’s deserves way more credit than it gets. The ginger flavor here is absolutely incredible (one of the best scoops in the city IMO), and pairs amazingly with the chocolate orgy or Colombian fudge avalanche (both well worth eating on their own).

This ice cream shop is a real gem! From the moment you walk in, the aroma of waffle cones and sweet treats fills the air. The selection of flavors is fantastic, with something for everyone . The ice cream itself is incredibly creamy and flavorful. Each scoop is packed with rich taste, and the quality is evident in every bite. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and a recommendation. The shop is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment to enjoy your treat.

Tried ginger flavoured ice cream on top of Colombian fudge avalanche. Pretty damn good! Ginger ice cream is a nice surprise. Definitely be back for another round.

I came with my friend to accompany her for a quick ice cream run. I was t expecting to eat any but couldn’t help but try the cinnamon flavor and WOW. It was so good and everything I wanted and more. So happy I tried Lizzy’s out— the Cinnamon ice cream tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch for sure.
